About the role

Job Purpose Summary: The incumbent is responsible for supporting the origination, preparation, processing, and execution of Global Structured Finance (GSF) transactions for the Group's corporate and institutional clients, thereby contributing to the growth and expansion of the Corporate Banking business. As a member of the Global Structured Finance team, the incumbent will serve as a Transaction Officer, providing support to ensure the timely, accurate, and effective execution of GSF transactions assigned by the Regional Head of Global Structured Finance or the Senior Vice President, Corporate & Institutional Banking. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Contribute, as required, to the development and implementation of the Unit's strategies, business plans, and budgets, ensuring alignment with the overall objectives of QNB Group Support the Vice President, Global Structured Finance, and the Senior Vice President, Corporate & Institutional Banking, in achieving the Branch's business targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Assist in the collection, analysis, maintenance, and storage of relevant business, financial, and operational information relating to borrowers, transactions, banking counterparties, and correspondent institutions, in compliance with KYC requirements and applicable regulatory and internal policies Proactively gather, analyze, and report market intelligence, including industry trends, market developments, competitor activities, and customer preferences, through regular engagement with key market participants Develop, maintain, and strengthen professional relationships with banks, financial institutions, and other stakeholders active within the Global Structured Finance market Support the lead Transaction Officer in the structuring, credit assessment, processing, documentation, execution, syndication, and distribution of assigned Global Structured Finance transactions Verify transaction-related information to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data pertaining to Global Structured Finance activities Assist in the preparation of Credit Summary Reports, credit proposals, and business memoranda in accordance with the Bank's Credit Policies and Procedures, ensuring that all material risks are appropriately identified and addressed, and that international credit standards and best practices are consistently applied Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal controls, and risk management guidelines in the execution of all assigned responsibilities Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management from time to time Education / Experience requirement Bachelor's degree in finance, Banking, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline Minimum of 8 years relevant banking experience, preferably within Corporate Banking, Structured Finance, or a related field Strong understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscape, industry practices, and applicable regulations governing the corporate banking sector Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with a sound understanding of risk management principles and practices Highly organized, analytical, and solution-oriented, with strong problem-solving capabilities Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and perform in a fast-paced environment with demanding deadlines.
