Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and submission of registration, re-registration, and extension applications for crop protection products in Portugal, ensuring compliance with EU and national requirements.

- Support the Field Force with regulatory guidance and act as a specialist resource on assigned regulatory focus areas.
- Who you'll work with
- Internal: European Regulatory Team, Country Commercial Team, Product Safety, Product & Regulatory Biology, Stewardship, CP Marketing & Technical Support, Labelling & SDS teams.
- External: National authorities (DGAV, DGE, DGS), Ministerial evaluation experts, third-party licensing partners, CropLife Portugal, academic and scientific community.
Requirements
- Degree in Agronomic Science or a relevant scientific discipline, plus at least 5 years' experience in Regulatory Affairs for plant protection products.
- Solid understanding of EU and Portuguese regulatory frameworks for crop protection.
- Strong English (required); Portuguese fluency expected; additional languages a plus.
- Ability to read, critically assess, and summarize complex scientific data.
- Sharp stakeholder management - you're comfortable navigating both internal teams and government authorities.
- Proactive mindset: you anticipate regulatory shifts and flag them before they become problems.
- Organised and delivery-focused, able to manage multiple dossiers and competing deadlines without losing detail.
