CAD Detailer (Trade Shows & Events)

Responsibilities

• Partner with Designers to ensure concepts are not just compelling-but buildable
• Translate 3D ideas into detailed control drawings for fabrication partners
• Collaborate with Estimating on detailing hours and smart fabrication solutions
• Work closely with Project Management to keep custom builds on track
• Coordinate with fabricators and vendors to ensure seamless execution
• Provide graphic elevations and support staging, prep, and shipping needs
• Maintain clean, accurate digital libraries of parts and components
• Ensure all work meets ADA requirements, building codes, and show regulations
• Bring precision, problem-solving, and ownership to every detail

• You have 4+ years of experience in exhibit detailing or similar production environments
• You're highly proficient in AutoCAD
• You understand drafting, dimensioning, tolerancing, and how things actually get built
• You're organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities
• You communicate clearly and collaborate across teams
• You think critically, solve problems, and bring ideas forward with confidence
• You have working knowledge of materials and fabrication techniques
• You're curious and open to learning new tools, processes, and technologies
