Junior Product Risk & Operational Specialist

Responsibilities

• Assist in the identification, assessment and monitoring of product & operational risks.
• Support the development and implementation of risk control measures to mitigate identified risks.
• Conduct risk assessments on new and existing products, services and processes.
• Assist in maintaining risk registers and documentation for compliance and reporting purposes.
• Monitor and analyze key risk indicators (KRIs) to ensure timely identification of potential risks.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to risk management policies and procedures.
• Assist in preparing risk reports and presentations for senior management.
• Participate in risk awareness training and initiatives across the organization.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of risk management frameworks and methodologies.
• Assist in overhauling product due diligence process and product risk rating mechanism.
• Assist in revamping sales suitability assessment framework.
• Assist in-redesigning customer-rick roting questionnaire-and-mechanism
• Support the cash transaction monitor process.
• Conduct daily post trade check processes for all accounts.
• Coordinate bi-annual portfolio review processes for all Relationship Managers and CIO/CEO.
• Coordinate with all offices to update their BCP documents and to conduct call tree exercise and drill.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and risk management tools is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and risk assessment tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in trade/middle office support, risk management or a related field.
• Basic understanding of risk management methodologies.
• Experience in financial services, banking, fintech, or related industries.
• Familiarity with risk management frameworks such as GDPR, COSO, Basel, or ISO 31000.
