- Supporting with the development and coaching of sector knowledge to enable our colleagues to become the go-to industry experts in local markets.
- Key Accountabilities:
- Advance Lloyds Banking Group's standing in local business communities and with high-value clients to foster business opportunities.
- Serve as the primary banker in the Midlands, Wales, and North West, managing public relations and external business development efforts to expand the SME franchise.
- Monitor and evaluate the Region's performance against income, profitability, growth, sales performance, customer service, and complaints, taking corrective action when necessary.
- Take personal responsibility for planning, implementing, and embedding changes required to support and grow the business.
- Manage all revenue, product sales, and risks within the Region.
- Build the abilities of Area Directors and their teams by assisting in the development of sector plans. Guide them in managing the balance sheet following policy, procedure, and compliance guidelines.
- Lead and promote Equal Opportunities, managing and motivating individuals to enhance performance and foster a culture where the "Best Team" flourishes.
- Ensure all activities align with internal and external policies, asset quality standards, reporting, legal, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
- Own the leadership and delivery of our Manufacturing proposition, driving market growth through strategic collaboration with product teams, external representation of the brand, and building sector expertise across colleagues.
