Role The job requires working for a Global Hedge Fund Administrator, specializing in administering assets of complex hedge funds. This individual will have a strong Technical and Accounting background, experience working within the Financial Services industry. This position involves working with Investor Accounting team. Major Duties Preparation of monthly fund and business entity closing summaries for Fund Administrator Preparation of investor allocation/PnL distribution to the investors Calculation of Incentive Fee and Management Fee Working on Hedge funds and private equities Investor statements preparation and distribution Knowledge of financial products like, Equity, Derivative instruments, IPO, etc. Prepare financial highlights and shareholders statements on quarterly/annual basis. Consistently look to streamline and automate the reporting/analytical process with the use of technology Process documentation and training to new hires. Escalate issues that fall outside normal resolution timeframe Accountabilities Employees are required to comply with the regulatory regime in which Northern Trust operates as appropriate to the above role Employees are expected to exercise due care and diligence, ensuring the areas, the incumbent is responsible for, are organised and controlled Employees are required to observe proper standards of market, business and personal conduct, demonstrating integrity in the execution of duties Reports to TL/ Section Manager
