Few people get to build a bank from scratch. Even fewer get to build one at a moment when banking itself is being reinvented. The dollar is the best product in the history of the world, with practically infinite global demand, but distribution is broken. Global clearing runs on legacy banks that are closed 115 days a year, built for humans and take two days to settle. Augustus is the update to the internet era. We received conditional approval from the OCC to charter America's first stablecoin-native clearing bank that is always open, made for machines, at the speed of compute. We are a group of operators, unicorn early employees, ex-founders and people who walked away from degrees because they believe this is an industry and career defining opportunity. We're backed with $40M from Peter Thiel's Valar Ventures, Creandum and founders of Ramp, Deel and Circle. We are regulated in Europe and live with Euro and Stablecoin clearing today. Now, we are building the US team from the ground up, while continuing to grow rapidly in Europe. Your Mission You are the first IT hire. You own everything - identity, access, devices, office infrastructure - and you bring it from 0 to 1. We have some tooling, but no one has owned the big picture and thought things through from 0 to 1 to 100. You'll design and run the internal tech stack that the entire company works on every day. IAM, MDM, hardware lifecycle, office connectivity, access controls, onboarding - end to end. You make sure every employee has exactly what they need to move fast and work securely, from anywhere. You'll work across every team to understand how people actually work and build the systems around that. You treat IT as a product and employees as your users. You give the company an internal experience that's as seamless as the platform we ship to customers. Team Mission Ivy is building The Dark Bank - a bank run by agents. Our infrastructure team (DevOps, Security, Data, IT) builds the foundation for that. We are a lean team of smart, high agency and high ambition individuals. You will work closely with the CTO, Lead DevOps and COO. You are expected to move autonomously and you are by default trusted with all decisions you take. Your First Six Months At Ivy Build the most tech forward IT Setup at a company which supports agents and humans alike: Month 1-2: Understand what is existing, e.g. how do we onboard people, how do we grant access, how does endpoint protection work. Evaluate the toolstack, kill what doesn't work, consolidate the rest. Draw a plan on what we want to build on and what not. You implemented the basics - IAM, MDM, EDR. Start SOC 2 groundwork on the operational side. Month 3-4: The company is enabled with the basics, policies and procedures are drafted to enable the organisation to continue moving quickly. SOC 2 operational controls in place, evidence collecting. You and the Security Engineer are aligned on audit readiness. Month 5-6: SOC 2 operational side is done. Vendor management runs clean. The IT stack is intentional, documented, and ready for when the bank launches. Who Will Thrive In This Role We believe that throwing smart people with high agency at big problems produces the best outcomes. In the past, we have seen people succeed at Ivy with the following traits ranked by importance: Safe Hands: You can run on your own and finish the job no matter what comes in your way. Communication: You are proactively going to the whole company and make sure you get the context without getting prompted to do so. Curiosity: You need to be super curious about all aspects of the business and dig deep to understand every use case to apply data effectively. System Thinking: You can design and build systems from scratch. Smartness: You are generally just very smart and can pick up new things quickly. This job is for you, if You think of IT as a product and employees as your users You believe great IT means nobody notices IT, everything just works Your default answer is "yes, lets think through the solution" to requests You get more energy from talking to people across the company than sitting alone at your computer You'd rather own the whole problem than have a narrow lane This job is not for you, if You think "IT Manager" means resetting passwords and ordering laptops Your default answer is "no" to requests You need a well-defined scope handed to you on day one You prefer working in isolation and shipping quietly You need a large team around you to be effective You're not comfortable working under banking-grade regulatory scrutiny Hard Requirements Experience: 3+ years in IT Operations. SaaS Expert: Deep experience with Google Workspace administration and modern IAM/MDM tools (e.g., Hexnode, ConductorOne, or similar). Network Savvy: Solid understanding of modern networking (Wi-Fi 6, Zero Trust). Hiring Process We have designed our process to make it as short and straightforward as possible: Screening Call - 15 minutes: Ini
