About the role

We are looking for a partnerships-driven and strategic team player who believes in the power of women's economic empowerment and is excited to help grow a community of donors, partners, and advocates around DOT's mission. This is a role that goes beyond conventional fundraising and transactions. At DOT, fundraising is deeply relational. It is about building trust, cultivating community, and helping donors and partners understand the very real human stories behind the work we do. Working closely with the CEO and Head of Advancement, you will help connect people to purpose, and partnerships to impact.

Responsibilities

  • Fundraising & Partnerships Development
  • Actively support the development and execution of fundraising strategies to grow sustainable income streams across but not limited to foundations, corporate donors, grant-makers, individual donors, legacy giving, digital fundraising campaigns, and community and peer-to-peer fundraising;
  • Identify and pursue new donor and partnership opportunities aligned with DOT's mission and values, maintaining a healthy pipeline for sustained funding growth;
  • Support annual budgeting, forecasting and reporting, highlighting new or changing operational needs that require manpower, budgetary and strategic provisions to the Head of Advancement;
  • Track fundraising performance, prepare reports, and analyse donation and supporter insights to improve engagement strategies and for Board and Management reporting; and
  • Jointly manage fundraising budget in accordance with charity regulations
  • Donor & Partner Stewardship
  • Develop thoughtful donor and partner engagement journeys that strengthen retention and long-term support, including the conversion of volunteers into donors and advocates for DOT;
  • Ensure donors and supporters feel connected to DOT's mission through authentic storytelling and impact communications;
  • Maintain accurate donor records and support CRM management and reporting, ensuring due compliance with the requirements of PDPA;
  • Manage fundraising campaigns and events with the view to build long-term partnerships with individuals and corporates;
  • Maintain proper records and conduct due diligence checks including setting up agreements with corporate and individual fundraisers as part of regulatory compliance; and
  • Proactive donor/funder relationship management including the provision of accurate and timely impact/grant reporting, engagement of funders in CSR activities, donor appreciation etc.
  • Advocacy & Communications
  • Understand, influence and synergize fundraising and communications plans;
  • Work closely with Communications to develop new ideas and effective strategies to improve lead generation for fundraising and provide support for advocacy topics;
  • Support Communications by providing contents for social media engagement, collaterals including Annual Reports and any communications activities, keeping engagement strong with our supporters and stakeholders;
  • Work closely with Programs & Operations and Communications to develop effective pitches for advocacy and fundraising, including the preparation of partnership proposals, pitch decks, impact reports, grant applications and any other stewardship materials as required; and
  • Represent DOT professionally at meetings, events, and networking opportunities
  • Campaigns and Events Management
  • Strengthen supporter relationships by planning appreciation gestures including corporate mixers, appreciation luncheons, etc.;
  • Conceptualize, plan and execute fundraising events including International Women's Day, Mother's Day Carnival, DOT Gala, DOT Golf Fundraiser or any other fundraiser that may be required or as directed, liaising with vendors and ensuring events are executed within approved budgets and in compliance with charity regulations; and

Daughters Of Tomorrow Limited Registered as a charity under the Charities Act of Singapore, Daughters Of Tomorrow (DOT) complements and supports existing training and workforce-related agencies by connecting volunteers and community resources to enable each woman on an individual level. By deep- diving into the practical day-to-day constraints of these women, we offer empathetic support and individual coaching to help each woman reach regular and sustained employment. Our clients are women aged 18 to 63 from low-income families, mostly living in government-subsidized rental flats, and facing multiple stressors in their families. Through sustained employment and a supportive ecosystem, women in our employment bridging program gain confidence in themselves, skills and a social support network that helps them achieve independence and enable social mobility for their families.
