Position Summary As the GCS (Gas & Chemical Systems) Gas Supervisor at Samsung you will be responsible for safe operation of gas and chemical supply to the site. This includes leading a technician team responsible for the group's maintenance and project needs, and continuously improving in these areas as the leader of a world-class team. In this position, you are responsible for being both a technical lead and a supervisor focused on daily and long term equipment management. You will achieve outstanding execution and safety performance in daily 24/7 maintenance of gas and chemical supply systems. You will coordinate with project teams to develop and execute projects to expand capacity and improve safety, and reliability in material supply. You will collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to maintain and improve equipment performance. You will be a champion of safety and world's-best performance in all work. Role and Responsibilities Here's What You'll Be Responsible For: Lead a maintenance technician team who performs in the field work on gas and chemical systems. Oversee advanced preventative and corrective maintenance. Lead and participate in safety initiatives, programs, and activities to drive world class safety performance. Troubleshoot, down to root cause, highly complex issues and provide technical report to engineering team. Support Capital planning, including participating in the design and selection of equipment and options for large scale supply systems. Drive improvements in work processes, equipment and part management, employing lean principles effectively. Support management of CMMS for all assets, drive on-time PM (preventative maintenance) completion, optimize PM strategies. Ensure compliance to local, state, and national codes and compliance requirements (including PSM/RMP). Support management and development of annual expense budgets. Support commercial negotiations and establishment of terms related to services and projects. Support the development of safety and quality projects to improve GCS system performance and reliability. Continually drive group culture toward greater learning, development, and overall job satisfaction. Mentor and train junior team members.
