About the role
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and successful delivery of large-scale construction projects from inception to completion. Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and contractual obligations are achieved. Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations, environmental requirements, company EHS policies, and project-specific plans. Oversee quality management processes to ensure works are executed in accordance with project specifications, applicable standards, and client expectations. Manage project budgets, forecasting, procurement, cost control, contract administration, variation management, and commercial risks. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while implementing effective corrective and preventive actions. Lead stakeholder engagement and maintain effective communication with clients, consultants, authorities, utility agencies, and senior management. Ensure all statutory approvals, permits, inspections, and regulatory requirements are obtained and maintained to support project delivery. Provide regular project reporting on safety, quality, programme, cost, risks, and overall project performance. Lead project commissioning, handover, defect management, and closeout activities. Support business development, tender reviews, and pre-construction planning activities where required.
