Senior Project Manager

About the role

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and successful delivery of large-scale construction projects from inception to completion. The role is accountable for achieving project objectives across Safety, Environment, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SEQDC) while ensuring compliance with contractual, statutory, regulatory, and company requirements. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction to project teams, drive project performance, manage key stakeholder relationships, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Lead and manage all aspects of project execution throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery against project objectives and SEQDC targets. Provide leadership and direction to project teams, including project managers, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers. Develop and implement project execution strategies, construction methodologies, resource plans, and delivery programmes. Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and contractual obligations are achieved. Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations, environmental requirements, company EHS policies, and project-specific plans. Oversee quality management processes to ensure works are executed in accordance with project specifications, applicable standards, and client expectations. Manage project budgets, forecasting, procurement, cost control, contract administration, variation management, and commercial risks. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while implementing effective corrective and preventive actions. Lead stakeholder engagement and maintain effective communication with clients, consultants, authorities, utility agencies, and senior management. Ensure all statutory approvals, permits, inspections, and regulatory requirements are obtained and maintained to support project delivery. Provide regular project reporting on safety, quality, programme, cost, risks, and overall project performance. Lead project commissioning, handover, defect management, and closeout activities. Support business development, tender reviews, and pre-construction planning activities where required.
