Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end accounting operations including Accounts Payable (AP), general ledger, and journal entries.
  • Lead and execute the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, and supporting schedules in compliance with US GAAP.

  • Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and responding to audit queries.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Legal, and HR to ensure accurate financial recording of business transactions.
  • Identify and implement process automation opportunities to improve efficiency in accounting workflows.
  • Qualifications & Requirements
  • Education & Certifications
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) - ICAI qualified preferred; CPA or equivalent qualification will be considered.
  • Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com) or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Requirements

  • 4 to 6 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing accounting operations for organizations with $10M+ in annual revenue.
  • Hands-on experience with US GAAP, ASC 606, and ASC 842 compliance.
  • Prior experience in a US-India cross-border accounting or shared services environment is a strong advantage.
  • Experience with month-end and year-end close processes, including full ownership of the close cycle.
  • Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks is required.
  • Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, Pivot Tables, and complex formulas.
  • Familiarity with accounting process automation tools and workflow optimization.
