About the role

Department The Department of Language and Linguistic Science at the University of York offers a variety of courses in languages, linguistics, translation and interpreting. Role To lecture, lead seminars, tutorials and other forms of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and interpreting (Spanish -> English). To undertake a range of administrative and support responsibilities. Skills, Experience & Qualifications Needed Postgraduate degree in interpreting and translating or a related subject. Detailed knowledge in interpreting and translating sufficient to develop teaching and provide relevant learning support to students across different levels of academic ability. Highly developed communication skills (oral and written) to engage effectively with a wide-ranging audience. Interview date: To be confirmed.
