- Collect copayments, maintain patient records, and ensure confidentiality in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Greet patients and visitors, answer and direct telephone calls, respond to inquiries, and coordinate front desk operations to support efficient workflow and customer service.
- Perform clerical and administrative duties, including record maintenance, supply management, quality improvement, safety initiatives, and upkeep of reception and patient service areas.
- Maintain current knowledge of insurance verification, authorization processes, and payer-specific requirements while performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; healthcare patient experience preferred
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows-based systems and scheduling/registration platforms
