Our self-serve ad platform entered General Availability (GA) in September 2024 and has picked up major momentum. Our Ads Manager team is gritty and hyper-focused on scaling the best CTV ad platform in the market. We move fast, pivot quickly, and work hard. We rally around decisions, challenge assumptions, and push the limits on what advertising can do for growth marketers, performance agencies, and any other business interested in TV ads. Our team is looking for a Director of GTM for Ads Manager to lead our in-market commercial functions - Product Solutions, Customer Success, and Customer Support - and own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy. This is a senior leadership role that sits at the intersection of product, sales, and client success. The Director of GTM, Ads Manager will lead a team of specialists that bridge product, sales, and client experience for Roku's self-serve CTV platform. You will directly manage three functions: Product Solutions, Customer Success, and Customer Support. Your mandate is to drive adoption, retention, and revenue growth on Ads Manager - from first touch through long-term client success. You will formulate and own GTM strategies for new product launches, work cross-functionally with product and engineering to incorporate client and market feedback into the roadmap, and lead a high-performing team that serves growth marketers, performance agencies, and self-serve advertisers. This role is a critical leadership position as we scale Ads Manager into the leading CTV self-serve platform. For New York Only - The estimated annual base salary for this position is between $252,000 - $280,000. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location. Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership
  • Lead and develop three in-market functions - Product Solutions, Customer Success, and Customer Support - setting team strategy, hiring strong talent, and building a culture of accountability and client obsession.
  • Oversee pre-sale and post-sale motions across all three functions, ensuring seamless handoffs, consistent client experience, and alignment with sales goals.
  • Define success metrics for each team, track performance against adoption, retention, and satisfaction goals, and continuously improve operations and playbooks.
  • Build scalable processes and playbooks across solutions, success, and support that enable the team to grow with the Ads Manager business.
  • GTM Strategy & Product Commercialization
  • Develop and own the go-to-market strategy for Roku Ads Manager, ensuring successful product launches and sustained adoption across all advertiser segments.
  • Engage early in product planning as the lead commercial partner, incorporating client feedback and marketplace needs into the Ads Manager roadmap from Beta through GA.
  • Formulate and prioritize solutions using both existing and new platform capabilities and define the commercial framework for evaluating and launching new offerings.
  • Define, measure, and continuously evaluate success metrics for all Ads Manager product offerings to ensure ongoing effectiveness.
  • Thought Leadership & Cross-Functional Influence
  • Identify trends, unmet advertiser needs, and growth opportunities to inform Ads Manager product priorities and roadmap development.
  • Educate advertisers, agencies, and internal teams on how to leverage Roku's ad solutions to drive measurable CTV outcomes.
  • Ensure cross-functional buy-in and support for product initiatives across sales, product, engineering, and marketing.
