Responsibilities

  • The Assistant Coach will be inheriting a group of highly talented and motivated men that have continued to compete at Nationals every year.
  • Coaching Duties (80%)
  • Providing instruction, mentoring and guidance to student athletes to allow them to develop their athletic skills and abilities to maximum potential.
  • Evaluating athletic ability and performance.
  • Assuring that equipment and practice plans are prepared in advance of practice sessions.
  • Maintaining positive and professional relations with students, athletes, and alumni
  • Ability to teach safe and proper technique to beginning level players while challenging and integrating the skills of higher-level players
  • Be an active participant in the life of the College by attending and supporting key events like Commencement, Homecoming, and other all-hands-on-deck gatherings. Show a spirit of collaboration and community involvement, including volunteering when possible.

  • Program Administrative Support (20%)
  • Coordinate scheduling, meals, transportation, etc for all team trips in conjunction with the head coach
  • Track team expenses and process invoices

  • In compliance with Massachusetts pay transparency law, the pay range for this position is $2,000-$2,500 per season. This range reflects base pay only and does not include other potential compensation or benefits.
