About the role
This position is located in the Chief Operating Officer Organization, Human Resources, Staffing, Payroll, Processing and Personnel Operations of the FDIC and is responsible for providing operational recruitment, placement, and staffing activities nationwide. Specialized experience is defined as (1) performing the full range of recruitment and placement functions utilizing merit promotion and delegated examining procedures including developing job analysis, preparing job opportunity announcements, and making eligibility/qualification determinations using an automated recruitment system; and (2) providing consultative services on recruitment strategies and resources. In addition to the qualification requirements listed above, you must also meet the following selective factor to be considered eligible for this job. The selective factor is defined as: Current Delegated Examining certification by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management is required for this position. Applicants must have met the qualification requirements (including selective placement factors - if any) for this position within 30 calendar days of the closing date of this announcement.
