Senior Manager, Data Science, Product Introduction to Team Our Corporate Functions are made up of teams that support Expedia Group, including our Global Finance Org., Traveler and Partner Service Platform, Legal Team, Strategy and Corporate Development Team, and People & Places Org. Within this organization, th e People Analytics team enables leaders and teams to easily gain strategic insights infor m decisions and strategies that will help our people and the business thrive. T his role actively shap e s how People & Places leaders and business partners access the insights they need to make thoughtful, data-informed decisions. You will lead the development of user-centered analytics products that simplify complex people data, improve self-service access to insights, and create meaningful change across the employee experience. This role brings together product strategy, data science, and cross-functional partnership to deliver practical, trusted tools for leaders across Expedia Group. In this role, you will: Realize the AI transformation of ge neration, discovery, and delivery of people analytics products that help business leaders and human resources partners access timely , actionable insights. Design, build, and improve self-service analytics products using data from multiple sources, with a focus on simple user experiences, clear visual storytelling, and measurable business impact. Partner closely with analytics, data engineering, and machine learning teams to translate business needs into product requirements, prototypes, production solutions, and ongoing enhancements. This includes wireframing, developing interactive prototypes, and U X testing as well. Measure adoption, engagement, and product effectiveness, using feedback, testing, and experimentation to refine features and improve outcomes over time. Productionize machine learning models and a utomate recurring analytics workflows and strengthen product reliability through documentation, testing, monitoring, and sound development practices. Share product best practices across the People Analytics team through demos, enablement materials, and knowledge exchange sessions that raise the bar on product thinking and user-centered design. Experience and Qualifications You have 6+ years experience in data science or analytics product roles , or a related field, with a strong track record of taking products from discovery and prototyping through launch, adoption, and iteration. You are proficient in SQL, R or Python, Tableau , and Claude Code or C odex . Y ou are comfortable working with large, complex datasets in modern analytics environments , with a preference for experience in Workday, Qualtrics, Trino, and Databrick s . You have experience turning machine learning models a nd AI capabilities into usable products by partnering effectively with data engineering and machine learning teams. You apply product thinking, usability principles, and structured problem framing to create intuitive experiences that reduce manual effort and support better business decisions. You bring strong judgment in data governance, privacy, and responsible artificial intelligence practices, including secure access, appropriate aggregation , and clear documentation. Master's or doctoral degree in Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related quantitative field Location Expectations Please note that this role is only available in the following locations: Seattle and New York, in alignment with our flexible work model which requires employees to be in-office at least three days a week. The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $173,000.00 to $242,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $277,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role. The total cash range for this position in New York is $187,000.00 to $261,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $299,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
