Job Description: Salary: £44k to £55k Leonardo UK operates a grade-based salary framework with broad bands. The salary range shown reflects the approved grade band for this role, or a narrower hiring range published within that band, and is benchmarked against the external market. Exceptions above the standard range are managed through governance controls to protect internal equity. Leonardo in Edinburgh are recruiting for a Senior Quality Engineer within the Customer Support and Service Solutions (CS3) line of business. As Senior Quality Engineer you will interact at Integrated Project Team (IPT) level, working in partnership with the Operations team / IPT. What you'll do as a Senior Quality Engineer: Offer advice, support and assistance on all Quality Assurance / Quality Control matters Support Principal Quality Engineer in in driving objectives to meet / exceed targets Contribute actively to IPT requirement to deliver a compliant product in a timely manner meeting all cost and safety requirements Support creation of Quality Plans defining quality assurance activities aligned to Risk, Opportunity and Improvement within the Programme and associated Projects, operating in line with the requirements of the Operational Framework Provide leadership to the Assurance Teams in order to meet Programme and IPT objectives Actively ensure Leonardo Production System goals for Quality KPIs Lead the Assurance function's improvement plans across all phases of the Programme, Product and Project Lifecycle Mentor others in order to grow Quality excellence within the Programme/Projects Take leadership in ensuring concessions / production permits are processed correctly and in timely manner Support achievement of quality assurance milestones within the Programme, Product and Project lifecycle Actively manage root cause and corrective action investigations
