POSITION SUMMARY: Focus Interpreting is looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Translator for written documents for English-Mixteco. As a translator, you will play a crucial role in accurately translating written content from English to Mixteco and vice versa, ensuring clarity and cultural relevance. RESPONSIBILITIES: Translate written documents, including but not limited to legal documents, medical records, educational materials, and more, from English to Mixteco and vice versa. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and cultural sensitivity in all translations. Conduct research when necessary to guarantee the correct translation of specialized terms. Collaborate with proofreaders and editors to refine translated content. REQUIREMENTS: Fluency in both English and Mixteco languages. Proven experience in translation, particularly in legal, medical, or technical fields. Excellent knowledge of linguistic structures and grammar in both languages. Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
