Internal Communications Manager

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to business and functional leaders , providing str ategic counsel on communication s that support b usiness priorities , culture, and tran sformation initiatives
• Translate complex strategies into clear, compelling narratives that resonate across diverse, global audiences and drive u ndersta nding and a ction
• Develop and execute integrated communications str ategie s and plans , aligning mess aging , cha nnels , and timing to ma ximi ze rea ch and impact
• Parter across Communications, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to e nsure consistency, clarity, and align ment across all channel s and t ou chpoints
• Shape and e levate stories that conne ct our strategy, innovation (including AI), and people to demon strate business im pact and value
• Measure impact, using insights and data to continuously refine messaging and improve effectiveness
• Bring a continuous improvement mindset - raising the bar on clarity, creativity, and effe ctivene ss acros s all d elivera bles

Requirements

• Strategic mindset with the ability to connect communications to business priorities and outcomes
• Strong executive presence and ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders
• Curiosity and agility, paired with strong operational execution
• Profici ency with communications tools and channel strategy across digital and employee platforms
• Experience using AI, including communication-specific platforms and practical applications
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Creative thinking with a focus on clarity, simplicity, and impact
• Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience, preferably in communications
• 8+ years of experience in internal communications within a large, global organization
• Preferred Experience
• Experience developing and leading integrated campaigns
• Experien ce leading comple x organizational chan ge projects
• Familiarity with insurance, financial services, or similarly regulated industries
• Experience leveraging integrated digital and collaboration platforms, including Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Viva Engage, Copilot), Zoom , and Monday.com
