Responsibilities

  • Qualifications & Skills
  • 7+ years' of industry experience where you have developed several significant feature sets and infrastructure automation projects from start to finish
  • Strong hands-on experience with a cloud provider, ideally AWS
  • Recent hands-on experience with EKS or Kubernetes for container orchestration, cluster management, and microservices deployment.
  • Recent experience with GitOps using FluxCD. ArgoCD.
  • Recent hands-on Experience with DevOps tools like VCS (GitHub, GitLab), Ansible, Artifactory, Synk, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, Cloud Formation), etc.
  • Experience building CICD pipelines and with at least one programming language to deliver a production backend service
  • Strong fundamentals in Networking, infrastructure, Linux and Windows.
  • Life-long learner and self-starter, including the ability to quickly become productive in an unfamiliar technology or codebase.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • A keen interest and proven experience in improving team standards and process.

Your role Corpay is looking to hire a Staff CloudOps Developer within our PayByPhone division. This position falls under our International Fleet line of business and is located in Vancouver, BC. As a Senior Cloud Operations Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage our infrastructure and deployment pipelines while providing technical guidance and mentorship to the team.
