You will provide support for commercial and IP agreements, content partnerships, Twitch esports productions, and various marketing activations. This role is an excellent opportunity to join Twitch's close-knit legal team, build relationships with counterparts at Amazon legal, and have fun tackling the complex issues of our user community. You can work from San Francisco, CA; Los Angeles, CA or Seattle, WA. You Will - Draft and negotiate agreements for software, SAAS, advertising, production, talent, content, marketing and other commercial transactions. - Counsel our teams on many legal and business issues, including rights and clearances. - Coordinate with diverse partners, including esports, procurement, business development, partnerships, marketing, sales, and finance. - Collaborate with legal team members to improve processes and ensure business demands are satisfied.
Requirements
- Knowledge of the ethical considerations surrounding AI in the legal context, such as confidentiality, accuracy, and bias prevention
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent;
- 3 to 6 years of experience navigating commercial transactions, preferably in the digital space
- Experience drafting and closing commercial agreements and improving contracting processes.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing successfully to cross-functional teams.
- Sound judgment even in ambiguous situations
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Prior experience on a legal team at a media, internet, or technology company
- Knowledge of Twitch, including esports / gaming, UGC services, and digital media business trends
