Dedicated to Excellence, Committed to Service Advertising Proofreader The Advertising Proofreader 1 verifies that the content of an Advertising product is free of any errors. The Proofreader checks each piece for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with ministry standards for style. Ensure Accuracy Verify that all the information contained in advertising pieces is accurate. Check for correct grammar, spelling, and mechanics. Maintain Consistency Ensure that all the information in advertising pieces is consistent from one piece to another. Check that information is clearly presented across all channels. Manage Tone Keep the text tone of all pieces appropriate to fit the recipients of the advertisement. Ensure that the tone fits the ministry's ideals and standards. Update the Style Guide Update and maintain the accuracy of the Advertising Style Guide to have a complete resource for reference. Verify ministry standards for usage and make changes as needed. FLSA Status - Scanning (Non-exempt) Education Required Education: BA - English Work Experience Required Experience: Preferred Experience: 1+ years in advertising Physical Requirements and Skills Attentiveness, Microsoft Office, Operating Office Equipment, Professional Proofreading Ideal candidates must be born-again Christians and must be dedicated to training young people for serving God; and must desire to educate students based on biblical values and be committed to excellence as a Christian educator who glorifies Christ as the source of all wisdom and knowledge.
