About the role
Your mission is to keep us running so we can keep building. Healthcare systems face growing pressure to do more with limited resources. To address this, we must shift towards proactive healthcare, prioritising early detection and prevention. We have unprecedented access to data across millions of patients, in real time. We're building insights that support clinical teams to predict emerging risks in their patients. They can't live without them: it saves them time, improves patient outcomes, and drives hospital performance. We are the only multimodal Class IIb certified AI-Clinical Decision Support tool (EU:MDR) and have deep integration and distribution partnerships with hospital IT providers (EPRs), enabling rapid scale across hundreds of hospitals. About the role We are a lean team building something that will change how hospitals detect and prevent patient deteriorations. We move fast, we're growing, and we need someone to make sure that the team has the right tools and that the office, the tech, and the day-to-day operations run smoothly so everyone else can focus on what they do best. You'll be the person everyone turns to when their laptop won't connect, when a new starter needs setting up, when the meeting room screen isn't working, or when we need someone to make sure the office is a great place to work. It's a mix of IT support, office management, and general operations. No two days will be the same. You'll report to our Head of IT, who is focused on building & maintaining our full compliance stack, and rolling out agentic AI workflows across the company. Your role frees him to concentrate on that by handling the day-to-day IT support and office operations. Here's what makes this different from most IT and operations roles: you'll get hands-on experience with the rollout of agentic AI workflows across our operational and business tooling. We use multiple AI tools extensively for internal operations (project management, document creation, communications, and workflow automation), and you'll be part of the team that onboards new starters onto these tools and helps the company get the most out of them. To be clear: this is operational tooling, not our regulated medical device product. But if you're the kind of person who gets excited about where AI is heading and wants to see first-hand how a real company puts it to work, this is a great place to start. What you'll do IT support and infrastructure. Set up and configure devices for new starters and onboard them onto Claude AI, Jira, Confluence, and other internal tools. First port of call for day-to-day IT issues: laptops, connectivity, software access, password resets. Maintain and troubleshoot VC equipment, meeting rooms, and shared office tech. Support the team with compliance documentation Help maintain IT processes, asset registers, and access control lists. Help maintain and improve internal tooling and workflows as the company's AI adoption evolves. Office management and operations. You are the go to person in the office to help organise anything - events, travel, supplies, staff FAQs, meeting rooms, etc Manage the full new start onboarding journey: desk setup, welcome packs, building access, first-day experience, and system enrolment across internal platforms Coordinate logistics for team events (including monthly socials and off-sites) and external conferences: delegate registrations, travel and accommodation bookings and on-the-day coordination where needed Own day-to-day supplier and vendor relationships for office operations: facilities management, IT hardware procurement and tracking, and supporting finance as needed. You'll thrive here if you: Are naturally practical, organised, and the kind of person who spots what needs doing before being asked. You love putting structure into chaos. Comfortable with technology and can troubleshoot common IT issues without panicking. You learn fast and don't need to know every tool on day one. A clear communicator who can help people with varying levels of technical ability, juggling multiple small tasks without letting things slip. You love making people feel looked after: greasing the wheels, putting smiles on faces, making visitors feel welcome, and making the office a place people want to be. Excited about AI and want to be hands-on with how a real company uses it, not just reading about it. At your best in early-stage environments where the pace is fast, priorities shift, and getting things done matters Bonus points if you: Have some experience in IT support, helpdesk, or technical operations (even informal or self-taught) Are familiar with M365 administration, device management, or identity and access management Have used Jira, Confluence, or similar project tracking tools Have an interest in healthcare, medtech, or regulated environments Have a degree or qualification in IT or computer science (but we care more about what you can do than what's on paper) Why this role, why now Sanome is growing f
