You are: The SAP Costing / Material Ledger Manager oversees product costing, inventory valuation, and financial accuracy within SAP, with a focus on the Material Ledger and actual costing processes. This role partners closely with the client to ensure compliant cost flows, lead period-end close activities, and drive process improvements and system enhances. The work: Lead efforts to gather requirements and design solutions to meet these requirements Analyze and design new business processes to create the documentation that guides the implementation of new processes and technologies Partner with the business to define product requirements and use cases to meet process and functional requirements Facilitate interaction with technical counterparts to ensure technical solutions meet all functional requirements Develop test strategies and manage large complex test efforts Business process design and system analysis Coordinate and manage across architects, developers, technical services (i.e. BASIS, Middleware, Portal) and business analysts to perform business analyst functions and responsibilities Maintenance, enhancement and/or development of SAP modules, including interfacing with other applications Budgeting, staffing, forecasting and work planning Manage a team, including mentoring and training junior team members Here's what you need: 7 + years SAP ECC Controlling experience SAP Finance subject matter expertise in end-to-end Product Costing processes including Material Ledger functionality with integration points with other modules such as Project Systems, Payroll, Materials Management and Finance Knowledge of CO functionality, including Internal Order, Cost Center Accounting, Assessment, Distribution, Cost Transfer etc.
