- Establish and deploy standardized processes, operating disciplines, and best practices across the global Materials & Logistics function.
- Champion the use of technology, analytics, and digital solutions to improve visibility, decision-making, and operational performance.
- Partnership & Governance
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers, logistics providers, and key business partners to support operational and business objectives.
- Lead the material flow council optimizing inventory to manage cashflow and balance operational risk
- Provide global leadership for the "Plan for Every Part" (PFEP) process ensuring all elements of the plan support business goals for safety, quality, cost and velocity.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, trade, environmental, and safety requirements across global operations.
- Establish performance metrics and governance processes to monitor results, mitigate risk, and drive continuous improvement.
- Manage functional budgets, resources, and investments to support enterprise priorities and long-term growth.
- Provide executive leadership with regular updates and recommendations regarding materials and logistics performance, opportunities, and risks
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Fifteen (15) or more years of progressive leadership experience within supply chain, materials management, logistics, operations, or a related field.
- Ten (10) or more years of leadership experience managing large, complex organizations and teams.
- Demonstrated experience leading global supply chain, materials, and logistics operations within a manufacturing environment.
- STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience leading global, multi-region supply chain organizations.
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale transformation, digitization, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Professional certifications such as APICS, CSCP, CLTD, Six Sigma, CSCMP, or equivalent.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to build strategic partnerships and lead through complexity in a global environment.
- Travel required; typically, less than 30%.
