Software Engineer - Simulation UI Systems (m/f/d) for AIRBUS

Responsibilities

• Communicate with stakeholders and customers to gather and understand requirements
• Define and architect the software foundation for simulation control stations, instructor operating stations and flight training debriefing stations
• Define and design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces and UI/UX concepts
• Design, develop, test and maintain software with C++ & Qt/QML by writing clean, efficient and maintainable code, and follow software development best practices
• Analyze and debug software issues, and fix bugs
• Identify and address technical risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies as needed
• Participate in planning, stand-up, review and retrospective meetings according to software development methodolgy
• Participate in code reviews and ensure the code meets the defined coding standards
• Ensure the software system design and architecture is scalable, maintainable and can be integrated with other systems
• Your Profile:
• Completed studies in computer science, software engineer or a comparable qualification
• Several years of work experience in IT / information systems
• Deep knowledge in C++ and Qt/QML is required (to program surfaces)
• Simulation background is helpful
• Fluent German and English skills both spoken and written
