About the role
The Production Test Engineer supports production tests, failure analysis, and repair activities to achieve quality targets and on-time delivery of systems according to the overall production schedule. They provide first-level support to the production team and act as liaisons with the Engineering and Mfg Test Development teams. - Owner of all Mfg Test processes before Mass Production
- Ensure on-time shipment of all NPI programs
- Track the progress of NPI HW through the Mfg Test process
- Create a failure summary report
- Identify HW failures vs Test Process-induced failures (false fails)
- Work with System Engineering and Diagnostic team to close all open test issues
- Test Process Oversight \ Improvement
- Provide daily Production Test status reports

- Become SME for execution of all Mfg Tests
- Continuous Improvement / 5S Support
- Work with an extended team to identify and execute process improvement actions:
- Peer technicians/engineers
- Leads / Supervisors / Managers/ Engineering
- What You bring
- BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
- 8+ years of related manufacturing test experience
- Previous Server Setup \ Debug \ Repair Experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
- Programming experience in both Linux and Windows environments
- Experience with Networking and Intel Server Architecture. Data Center Experience is a plus
- Ability to summarize large amounts of test data to identify trends \ improvement opportunities
