Tessera is seeking a safety-oriented and dynamic Fire Alarm and Electronic Controls Supervisor with a professional attitude. The Fire Alarm and Electronic Controls Supervisor's primary duty and responsibility is to supervise the total work effort associated with operation, sustainment, restoration, and modernization of facility fire alarm systems, electronic signaling controls, electronic building controls and components. The Fire Alarm and Electronic Controls Supervisor shall be the subject matter expert for facility fire alarm and electronic control systems maintenance and repair. Productivity, workplace safety, customer satisfaction, and the team's success are dependent on the leadership team's position efforts. Typical duties include but are not limited to: Leading, mentoring, and managing a team of fire alarms, controls system, and electronics technicians, delegating tasks, and providing technical guidance. Diagnosing and resolving fire systems and electronic issues, often requiring advanced technical skills. Developing and implementing preventative maintenance plans to ensure optimal system performance and longevity. Ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations, especially when working with energized equipment. Planning, scheduling, and overseeing fire systems and electronic projects, including material procurement and cost estimation. Maintaining accurate records of work performed, generating reports, and communicating effectively with the customer. Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company safety policies. Conducts regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
