HVAC Design Engineer - WCAN

Responsibilities

• Lead and support HVAC projects across all design stages (CD, BD, DD) for industrial facilities.
• Develop HVAC design deliverables including load calculations, airflow diagrams, ducting layouts, HVAC reports, technical specifications, and 3D modeling (Revit/SketchUp).
• Coordinate with LDI/PE/QP and manage project design execution.
• Support procurement activities including BOQ preparation, value engineering, tender documentation, and technical bid evaluations.
• Review contractor and LDI submissions to ensure compliance with project requirements, codes, and URS standards, and provide site support when needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience
• Able to work independently with strong teamwork and collaboration mindset.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and related tools (Revit, Navisworks, CFD, etc.).
• Familiar with FDA, cGMP, ISO 14644, and general engineering standards.
• Knowledge of local building codes and international standards (IBC, IMC, ASHRAE, etc.).
• Strong understanding of HVAC system design and material selection.
• Leadership experience is an advantage.
