Entity: Customers & Products Job Family Group: Procurement & Supply Chain Management Group Job Description: The Global Supply Chain Function is building a new Business Technology Centre (BTC) which has its main hub in Pune, India. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a new global organisation that has a customer-centric and streamlined design at its core, and that seeks to fully integrate multiple geographies and the many internal functions that sit within Supply Chain. The global function is focused on standardisation and digitalisation with the goal being the creation of a digitalised end-to-end supply ecosystem that empowers teams to make data-driven decisions and share and demonstrate consistent data seamlessly. The BTC will bring together Sales & Operations Planning activity and decision-making delivering greater agility, reducing redundancy and enabling Global Supply Chain to respond to business and customer needs more quickly, and to improve crisis management responsiveness. The Planning Systems Leader will be responsible for creating an open and supportive environment where people can learn and develop in their roles and contribute to the growth and success of the Business Technology Centre. Good communication, decision-making and problem-solving skills are crucial for this role. You will support our global planning community to maximize the effectiveness of our digital planning system (Kinaxis Maestro) across our global business teams. The role plays a key part in ensuring consistent planning practices are maintained whilst demonstrating our global operating templates, supporting end users, solve system issues, and driving the adoption of new processes and continuous improvement initiatives. The role will further a global community of functional authorities who will work closely with the Global Planning Centre of Excellence (CoE) and the Information Technology (IT) teams to triage and prioritize ongoing process or technical defects and deliver approved enhancements in the system and across the business landscape. This position requires Kinaxis Maestro experience as a contributor or author, together with strong analytical skills and expertise in a recognised Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g. JDE, SAP ECC or /S/4). The role holder must be skilled at fostering collaborative working relationships across the global supply chain function, and multi-functionally with IT colleagues in Pune and other markets. What you will deliver (responsibilities) System Expertise & User Support Be the Domain Expert for Kinaxis Maestro for the Supply Chain community, providing hands-on support, training and guidance to team members. Respond proactively and collaboratively to user queries related to system functionality, solve, and standard processes; act as the first line of support for system defects, triaging and intensifying through a defined process based on criticality and business impact. Identify potential systems challenges and constraints, as well as opportunities for enhancement based on feedback and insights gained Responsible for gathering potential systems changes and articulating business needs when planning future enhancements and ensuring prioritisation decisions support the business and user community. Training & Adoption Create and deliver Kinaxis training sessions for users to enhance their proficiency and grow their knowledge of the tool and the impact their system activities have on other teams. Actively participate in the global community of Planning System SMEs, led by the Planning Centre of Excellence; work multi-functionally with the group to share trends, discuss challenges and identify and prioritise enhancement opportunities across different geographies. Develop and maintain Planning training materials, Standard Operating Practice documentation, and share standard methodology ideals that are aligned to the Global Planning Operating Model. Accountable for the smooth onboarding of users; demonstrating the system driven end-to-end planning processes. Support and encourage adoption of new system capabilities, ensuring effective organisational change. Process Optimization & Governance Identify gaps or inefficiencies in how planners harness the planning process functionality within Kinaxis and drive an approach of continuous improvement and curiosity. Collaborate with the CoE to drive ongoing improvements in planning practices in Kinaxis. Ensure alignment to global standards, policies, and governance frameworks. Delivery of agreed authoring and any minor enhancements within the system to meet prioritised business needs and requests. What you will need to be successful ( experience, job requirements & qualifications) Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional Experience : 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, with a solid understanding of the end-to-end planning cycle
