Responsibilities
- Coordinate electrical systems and equipment such as switchgear, motors, generators, pumps, and fans.
- Service DC electrical systems including batteries, chargers, rectifiers, and inverters.
- Support operation and upkeep of station and unit-level electrical control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and control networks.
- Inspect and service control system end devices such as motor controls, transmitters, sensors, switches, solenoids, and actuators.
- Ensure reliability of safety systems and components, including ESD panels, gas and flame detectors, and manual activation devices.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent with relevant training and hands-on experience.
- Strong troubleshooting, technical, and analytical skills developed through education and/or practical experience.
- Solid understanding of Enbridge Safety Policies and Procedures, consistently applied in daily work.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to gather and relay information.
- Ability to work independently while supporting team collaboration in an inclusive, passionate environment.
- Willingness to assist with more complex tasks, equipment, and procedures.
- Proficient in standard office software applications.
- Preferred:
- Working knowledge of operations used in the maintenance of these facilities.
- Demonstrate a strong interest in learning and progressing as an Electrical Controls Technician.
- Working Conditions:
- Primarily outdoors with some office work for training, meetings, and documenting tasks required by the Department of Transportation and other regulatory agencies that Enbridge must follow.
- Must be able to perform physically challenging activities in all types of weather conditions.
- Must be able and willing to work extra hours, weekends, shifts, on-call & standby, and travel overnight as needed.
- Currently resides or is willing to relocate within 30 miles of the assigned reporting location.

- Ranges from $29.25 - $42.00 hourly/USD for US locations based upon candidate's experience, skills, and internal equity.
