About the role
Job Description: - Report to the Project Director. - Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts for construction projects. - Draft, review, and manage contracts between clients, contractors, and suppliers. - Prepare tender documents, evaluate bids, and advise on contractor selection. - Track project costs, monitor progress, and assess the financial impact of design or scope changes. - Monitor and control material wastage. - Conduct interim valuations, certify payments to contractors, and manage final accounts. - Identify financial risks and propose strategies to mitigate them. - Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Immediate Management. Job Requirement: Depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards Outstanding communications and negotiation skills Excellent organizational and time-management skills A team player with leadership abilities Advances time management and analytical skills Excellent client-facing communication skills A Bachelor's Degree in Science, Building, or Engineering. Experience in the construction industry. 5 years' experience in procurement of construction projects and/or building variation works. (Metal Works) - Required language(s): English & Mandarin (in order to handle queries and feedbacks from English & Mandarin speaking associates, clients and customers)
