We are looking for a versatile Lab Technician to play a crucial role in our research and development laboratory. In this position, you won't just be sitting at a desk-you will be building, testing, and troubleshooting next-generation hardware. You will support our engineering team by maintaining a cutting-edge prototyping lab, operating 3D printers, laminating custom composite parts, and safely handling high-power electrical setups. Core Responsibilities High-Power Electronics Support: Assist engineers in assembling, wiring, and safely testing high-power electronic circuits and pulsed-power components. Composite & Epoxy Fabrication: Hand-fabricate, coat, and cure specialized parts using composite materials and epoxy resins, ensuring structural and insulating integrity. 3D Printing Operations: Manage our suite of 3D printers (FDM/SLA). This includes preparing CAD files, optimizing print settings, managing filament/resin stocks, and performing post-processing. Lab & General Bench Work: Act as the go-to person in the lab. Modify mechanical components, build test fixtures, solder wiring harnesses, and keep the workshop organized and operating efficiently. Safety & Maintenance: Ensure the lab complies with strict electrical and chemical safety protocols. Perform routine maintenance on machinery and tools.
