Joining Collibra's People Team We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Partner. This role is designed to partner closely with our business managers, People Partners and Legal team to deliver consistent, fair and compliant employee relations support across the organization, with an initial focus on EMEA and to grow into a global role over time. The role requires demonstrated, hands-on employee relations expertise, including performance management and investigations. You'll use professional judgment and employment law knowledge to manage risk while maintaining a positive employee experience. This is a hybrid role based in our Brussels office. Our hybrid model means you'll work from the office at least two days each week. This setup helps us stay connected, work more closely together, and keep making progress as a team. Employee Relations Partners at Collibra are responsible for Serving as the primary employee relations resource for assigned EMEA countries, expanding globally over time Partnering closely with global People Partners (HRBPs) and business managers to address employee relations matters, across multiple geographies, including performance issues, workplace concerns, conflicts, conflict resolution , and policy-related questions, conducting discussions and case management in English, French, or Dutch as required Supporting investigations, employee complaints, and sensitive cases, ensuring fairness, consistency, and compliance with local labor laws and company policies Defining, documenting, and continuously improving Employee Relations processes to ensure cases are handled efficiently, consistently, and with the right level of human judgment Tracking and analyzing Employee Relations metrics (e.g. case volume, themes, resolution time, recurrence) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for prevention Contributing to proactive ER initiatives (manager guidance, documentation templates, FAQs, playbooks) to reduce recurring issues and improve manager capability Partnering with Legal, People Ops, and other stakeholders as needed on complex or cross-border cases You have Experience in Employee Relations, ideally in a tech or fast-paced environment, with strong exposure to the Belgian and French markets Strong understanding of employee relations principles, investigations, and employment practices (experience across multiple countries is a plus) Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, manage sensitive topics, and exercise sound judgment Strong process-thinking mindset, with experience defining or improving workflows High curiosity and practical interest in AI and automation, with the ability to translate concepts into real use cases Bachelor's degree or equivalent related working experience Work authorization to work in Brussels, Belgium Experience in the Belgian, French, Czech, and/or UK markets is a plus Experience working with HR tech platforms, case management tools, or AI-enabled tools Exposure to change management or transformation initiatives Experience in a global or scale-up environment Familiarity with data privacy, ethics, and compliance considerations related to AI You are Analytical and excel in your problem-solving capabilities Experience using People data and metrics to drive decision-making A strong communicator, excel at relationship-building, and have stakeholder management skills Able to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment Professional fluent in English, French, and Dutch, with proven ability to manage employee relations matters in all three languages Comfortable enabling others: coaching, guiding, and helping People Partners adopt new ways of working Strong in communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly to non-experts Measures of success Within your first month, you will immerse yourself in the EMEA landscape to align regional employee relations with our global mindset Within your third month, you will you will achieve full mastery of EMEA case management, serving as the primary subject matter expert for the region Within your sixth month, you will lead our expansion into US employee relations by developing a comprehensive playbook while leveraging AI tools to drive operational efficiency and strategic innovation Benefits at Collibra Collibra recognizes and values that everyone has different needs, interests, and life goals.
