Responsibilities

  • You will play a central role in the Markets Data Office and take responsibility for data quality and governance within a defined domain area. You will help establish how critical data is described, controlled, monitored, and improved in practice.

Requirements

  • You bring both technical data expertise and strong business understanding:
  • Experience in data governance, data quality, data models or advanced data analysis
  • Experience within financial services, markets, or risk domains is highly valued
  • Strong understanding of how data supports business processes and outcomes
  • Proven ability to work independently and drive initiatives end-to-end
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to translate complex data issues into clear insights and actions
  • Strong documentation discipline and attention to detail
  • You are comfortable working close to data quality tooling, metadata/catalogue capabilities, and technical teams responsible for implementing controls
  • Technical skills (SQL, Python; Databricks, Great Expectation or similar platforms are a plus)
