  • Develop dual/multi-sourcing strategies and inventory buffers where required
  • Lead crisis management during supply disruptions
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and ESG requirements (UL, RoHS, REACH, etc.)
  • Collaboration with Engineering & Innovation
  • Work closely with R&D teams on component selection and supplier co-development
  • Influence product design decisions to optimize cost, availability, and manufacturability
  • Drive early supplier involvement (ESI) in new product development (NPI)
  • Track emerging technologies in power electronics & design incorporation/alternate sourcing
  • Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or related field)
  • 20-25+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, Commodity management with strong exposure to power electronics/electricals
  • Proven experience negotiating global, high-value supplier contracts and Contract Manufacturer management
  • Experience working in industries such as industrial, renewable energy, or electronics manufacturing

  • Strategic Sourcing Expertise - Ability to develop and execute long-term commodity strategies
  • Technical Acumen - Strong understanding of power electronics and component-level design tradeoffs, EMS manufacturing processes
