Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform daily infrastructure operations(BAU support)
• Monitor systems and handle incidenttroubleshooting & resolution
• Support server build, configuration, anddeployment activities
• Execute patching, upgrade, and changerequests
• Assist in root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents
• Maintain documentation (runbooks, SOPs)
• Ensure compliance with security andaudit requirements
• Technical Requirements
• OS: Windows Server and Linux (RHEL)
• Virtualization: VMware (ESXi / Virtual environments)
• Middleware (preferred): IBM MQ, Connect:Direct, BizTalk
• Database: Microsoft SQL Server
• Familiarity with:
• OS/Database hardening (security baseline)
• Vulnerability Assessment / remediation
• Monitoring tools (JP1, Solarwinds, etc..)
• Backup systems (Arcserve, Veeam, etc..)
• Basic networking concepts
• Experience Required
• 3-8 years of Infrastructure / System Engineering experience
• Experience in banking / financial services preferred
• Exposure to payment systems is an advantage
• Key Skills
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical ability
• Knowledge of incident, change, and problem management
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work in a mission-critical production environment
• Additional Notes
• May require 24 x 7 on-call support (if needed)
• Immediate / early availability preferred
