About the role

Support the FPSO Package Manager in the overall management of the FPSO package during execution. Enforce the Company's HSE culture with contractors and subcontractors during construction, integration, and commissioning phases. Monitor cost control and schedule performance for the FPSO package. Manage contract compliance, including change management, variation orders, and deliverables follow-up. Lead planning and execution of hook-up, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities. Coordinate interfaces between the FPSO and other project packages, including subsea and field operations teams. Ensure a smooth transition from project execution (EPSCC) to operations and maintenance (O&M). Review technical documentation including operating philosophy, operating manuals, maintenance procedures, and SIMOPS dossiers. Follow procurement and readiness of operational spare parts. Support development of commissioning strategy and field operations organization. Monitor contractor progress at fabrication yards and ensure alignment with the project integrated schedule. Supervise risk management activities and support project control functions. Ensure proper reporting to project management and manage potential claims, change orders, and contractual issues. Contribute to lessons learned and project close-out documentation. Minimum 20 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry. Proven experience in major offshore deepwater developments. Strong experience with FPSO projects, particularly hook-up, commissioning, and start-up phases. Experience with subsea production systems integration. Background in mechanical, petroleum, or industrial engineering (Master's degree or equivalent preferred). Strong contract management and negotiation skills with contractors and suppliers. Demonstrated ability to manage cost optimization and project performance. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills within multidisciplinary teams. Ability to work autonomously with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset. Willingness to travel to shipyards in Europe, China, and Suriname. English required, French preferred.
