QS engineer

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedules works with reference to contractual schedules
• Attend to all operational matters related to the daily running of the project
• Coordinate goods delivery with suppliers and store as required
• Collaborate with team to propose design and materials based on budget and
• client requirement to obtain material dimension, design & specification from
• site & vendors.
• Coordinate instructions & monitor with sales team, production, and Clients for
• job order & design specification, acceptance of work, progress of work,
• problem solving, handover completed project with project documents, etc...
• Prepare bill of quantity for job order in a cost-effective manner.
• Responsible in the overall quantity take off resources.
• (eg. Material, man hours)
• Analysis and preparation of cost plan & estimate for tender and job order
• Liaise with consultants and vendor on compliance with regulations, practices
• and changes
• Attend to customer enquiry and conduct survey site condition, cost and
• method requirement of installation, delivery, and set-up if necessary.
• Conduct quality control to ensure finished products are constructed according
• to job order and drawing
• Plan & implement effective, efficient production and safe practices.
• Attend site meetings and inspections, report regularly on progress and
• monitor schedule
• Prepare monthly project report to the Project Manager / Customers
• Ensure workplace is well-maintained, tidy & safe.
