Environmental Engineer

About the role

You will serve as an Environmental Engineer in the Environmental (EV) Business Line, Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAFAC) Southeast. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing computer programs/software (i.e. Microsoft office and environmental engineering software) to prepare engineering reports, studies, permits, etc.; 2) Participating in site visits and/or investigations to assess environmental compliance and identify deficiencies and ensuring compliance with local, state, and/or federal laws, codes, and regulations; and 3) Assisting with developing scopes of work and government estimates for environmental projects.
