JOB PURPOSE Job purpose PHINIA is currently looking for a "dynamic, results driven" individual to join as an Operations Manager in our Laredo distribution center location. - Continually enforce and improve policies and procedures throughout the facility. Ensure smooth and accurate operation of the facility to eliminate/reduce discrepancies by recognizing weak areas and introducing solutions to strengthen those areas.
- Provide HANDS ON leadership to site supervisors in developing and implementing programs such as: Safety, CPI, 5S, Lean, and other programs to ensure Safety, Quality, Delivery and Continuous improvement of the operation.
- Maintain a reporting system on the performance of all functional areas to be available to customers.
- Develop in coordination with the customer, a detailed site business plan, and ensure that all items in it get measured and accomplished every week. Provide hands-on support to those areas out of compliance to establish a quick and reliable resolution.
- Participate in Business reviews as established in coordination with the customer.
- Proven leadership and people development capability. Trained in conflict management and business negotiation processes.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; proficiency in SAP.

- At least 10 years of Distribution Center experience (automotive LD/Heavy Duty)
