In the heart of Hamburg, this position offers you the opportunity to work as a Aircraft Retrofit Engineer (m/w/d) at Airbus within the aerospace sector on a temporary assignment for one year. You will join a team focused on modernizing and upgrading aircraft systems, addressing technical challenges, and implementing innovative retrofit solutions. Operating in a full-time capacity, this position allows you to contribute to cutting-edge projects while leveraging your technical expertise. Your tasks: - Establish technical modifications and upgrades in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. - Validate technical solutions and ensure associated documentation meets industry standards. - Identify, propose, and support the development of new retrofit adaptations, including upgrades for existing systems. - Collaborate closely with global teams to ensure alignment with project goals and deadlines. - Maintain compliance with industry regulations and safety standards, ensuring quality in every solution delivered. #### VORAUSSSETZUNGEN: - Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a technical discipline. - 2 years of professional experience in engineering, aircraft manufacturing, maintenance, and configuration management. - Proficiency in using software tools like Catia V5, Taksy/Gesy/Tesy, VPM, and Google Workspace. - Advanced knowledge of VPM A350 is highly valuable. - Language proficiency: German at a professional level and English fluently. - Understanding of trends and tools such as APS and PASS/SSCI is a plus. - Strong analytical ability, teamwork, and communication skills, demonstrating multi-cultural awareness. #### Benefits: - An unlimited employment contract - 35-hour workweek - 30 days of annual leave - An annual salary of around 80.000 € - An attractive package following the Equal Pay model - Flexible handling of overtime through compensatory time-off or payment
