Instructional Design & Learning Development. Designing dynamic, learner-centered training experiences that empower WMATA's technical workforce for operational excellence.. Empowering organizations with flexible, expert talent solutions that enhance efficiency, agility, and performance through tailored staffing while fueling WMATA's workforce excellence through innovative, data-driven instructional design that transforms learning into operational performance. This work factors into the categories of Technical Training and Learning Design Staff Augmentation, Comprehensive Instructional Systems Design and Process Modernization, Learning Innovation Design and Performance Enhancement, Safety and Readiness Technical Training, and Learning Design and Technical Workforce Capability Enhancement. Designs ILT/CBT/blended content, creates storyboards, assessments, and facilitator/participant guides using ADDIE/SAM-core ISD duties. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Technical Training and Development Instructional Designer | Technical Training and Development Division (TTDV) Instructional Design Staff Augmentation [WMATA0010009] Develop instructor-led and computer-based training materials; conduct training needs analyses; collaborate with SMEs; create lesson plans, assessments, and multimedia content; apply adult learning theory and accessibility standards.. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Design and Develop Instructional Content: Create engaging and effective learning materials, including presentations, handouts, CBT modules, and job aids, using established templates and design standards. Apply Instructional Design Principles: Develop content that aligns with adult learning theory and instructional best practices, ensuring clarity, accessibility, and learner engagement. Engage in Proactive Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to provide project updates, gather feedback, and ensure alignment with strategic training goals and operational needs. Manage Project Timelines and Milestones: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, track progress against key milestones, and address risks or delays to ensure timely delivery of training products.
