Responsibilities

  • Provide human resources guidance and counseling to managers and/or employees on the effective application of the Company's HR policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Assist in the implementation of Company-wide HR strategies that support successful business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Minimum
  • 5 years' experience: Human Resources or related area
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Preferred
  • Experience in a large organization with complex systems and multi-site responsibilities
  • Four-year degree: Human Resources or related field of study

  • Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and related applications

  • The expected salary for this position is starting at $84,000 annually depending on experience. This position is also bonus eligible based on specific and relevant business metrics.

Purpose Partner closely with Subsidiary leadership and Graybar Corporate HR to advise subsidiary employees on Human Resources strategies, policies, practices, and procedures to assist with effective business operations. Responsible for a broad range of topics, including employment law compliance, employee relations, training, management support, and talent management.
