Provide engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction to participants to help them achieve their goals; instruction may be community based, on-site or provided virtually. Utilize appropriate modification techniques to respond to challenging behaviors and support behavioral plans to increase engagement Complete documentation for tracking participant goals and comment on progress and achievement Supervise and assist participants during volunteer activities, paid work, classes, and other community activities Responsible for travel training participants using public transportation and the safety and well-being of participants while out on community outings Participate in agency functions and attend staff meetings and other trainings as scheduled Maintain professional relationships and provide excellent customer service with external parties, families, care givers, and participants Assist participants in personal hygiene as needed Drive agency vehicles as needed Transport participants to activities and events; provide route service as needed Other duties as assigned EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: In our approach to inclusive hiring, we recognize that job qualifications within hiring policies have been used to exclude candidates from marginalized backgrounds.
