About the role
TECO is seeking a commercially driven Sales Manager to lead business development and customer relationship management in the Japanese market. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Engineering, Marketing, Logistics, Maritime, or related field.
- Native or business-fluent Japanese (spoken and written).
- Minimum 5 years' experience in sales, business development, commercial in shipping industry
- Proven experience managing relationships with Japanese companies.
- Strong commercial negotiation and contract management skills.
- Good understanding of Japanese business culture and practices.
- Willingness to travel frequently within Japan and internationally.
- Preferred
- Existing network within Japanese corporate, shipping, trading, manufacturing, or energy sectors.
- Experience in international business environments.
