About the role

You will serve as an Interdisciplinary Engineer/Scientist in the Systems Acquisition Group, Human Systems Engineering Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12/13) or pay band (DP-04) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of an Interdisciplinary Engineer/Scientist. Specialized experiences must include duties related to the following: (1) Providing professional competence in protection, performance, and survivability; (2) Understanding of transition and acquisition strategy for aircrew and maintainer performance enhancing and life sustaining devices; (3) Ensuring effective planning, development, and execution of programs; (4) Demonstrating knowledge of Human Systems engineering policies, processes, tools, and procedures; (5) Demonstrating detailed knowledge related to human systems engineering product areas; and (6) Utilizing project management/coordination policies, processes, procedures, and responsibilities.
