JOB DUTIES : Lay out sheetrock, rafters and side rails / micro lam per prints and wind zone requirements Secure ceiling frame per DAPIA Lay out fan, light and interior wall supports (layins and luan backers) Lay out particle board along edge of ceiling Use foam gun to secure sheetrock to frame and layins / backers Build frames for skylights if required Install overhangs on ceiling Use hoist to move ceiling to tunnel Maintain acceptable level of quality Clean area daily Perform other duties as assigned EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED : Must be at least 18 years old SAFETY/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS: Foam Seal and solvents used to clean gun Frequent use of staple guns Use of radial arm saw Uncontrolled Climate EQUIPMENT/MACHINES USED: High pressure foam seal gun Radial Arm Saw Staple Guns Screw Guns Skill Saw and Router Overhead hoist/crane system General Hand Tools TESTING REQUIRED : Drug Screen Hearing Test COGNITIVE SKILLS: Good reasoning skills Be able to read blue prints and tape measure PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: No sitting except breaks and lunch Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds Moderate amount of bending and stretching Must have normal use of hands Why Clayton?
