Job Code: SNHC18/03/PT Physiotherapy Assessment Conduct patient assessments to evaluate functional ability, including mobility, transfers, and ambulation. Identify impairments, movement limitations, and functional restrictions. Establish appropriate treatment goals, plans, and timelines. Implement, review, and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Physiotherapy Intervention Deliver therapy based on the patient's clinical condition, which may include: Manual therapy and airway clearance techniques. Use of physical and electro-therapeutic modalities (e.g., ultrasound, traction, electrical stimulation, diathermy, cryotherapy, biofeedback, compression therapy). Functional rehabilitation such as therapeutic exercises, muscle re-education, gait, balance, and posture training. Prescription of mobility aids and assistive devices when required. Provide patient and caregiver education and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation. PROFESSIONAL Practice according to AHPC Code of Professional Conduct and maintain patient and organizational confidentiality. Supervise, appraise, and mentor therapists, therapy aides, undergraduate and post-graduate students, and foreign-trained therapists. Lead workshops, seminars, clinical research projects, and develop clinical standards. Liaise with external agencies and coordinate new therapy programs. ADMINISTRATIVE Update patient statistics and assist in policy implementation and review. Maintain therapy equipment and provide coverage or leadership for outpatient services, therapy aides, and nursing home rehabilitation as required. Undertake additional tasks or projects assigned by the Head of Occupational Therapy. HEALTH AND SAFETY Follow and implement health and safety regulations; participate in safety programs. Complete mandatory courses (CPR, Manual Handling, Fire Safety) and follow infection control protocols. Identify, report, and resolve potential hazards or incidents promptly. Project Schedule Work Schedule: 5 days per week, 8 hours per visit Commencement Period: FY2026 Senior therapist are welcome to apply Bachelor or Masters in Occupational Therapy Must be a Fully Registered AHPC ( Singapore )
